Remove a PDF password
For a document you can already open. If you do not know the password, this cannot help — there is no recovery here and no guessing, which is the line that keeps this a convenience rather than a cracker.
Remove a PDF password
Free, no signup, no credit charged. This one sends your file to the server, because the browser cannot do it. Nothing is kept: the file is processed in memory and deleted before the response finishes.
The size cap here is lower than the API’s, because this is uncharged server time. Larger files, or a lot of them, cost one credit each — through the API, or on the run screen with no code at all.
Your password is handed to qpdf on standard input, never written to disk, never logged, and never put on a command line where anything that can list processes could read it. The field clears as soon as your file comes back.
