MCP server
Give an agent the ability to render, convert, redact and read documents mid-task. Streamable HTTP, one header, no SDK.
Configuration
The same block works in every client below. Create a key in the dashboard first — it is shown once.
{

"documents": {
"type": "http",
"url": "https://api.docufinery.com/mcp",

}
}
}
}- Claude Code

- Settings → MCP → Add new server, or drop the block into .cursor/mcp.json.

Tools
Every tool states its limits in its own description, so the agent knows the ceiling before it calls.
render_documentRender Markdown, HTML or Typst markup to a PDF.
operate_pdfRun one structural operation on PDFs: merge, split, compress, rotate, watermark, reorder, extract-pages or unlock.
redact_documentRemove text from a PDF so it cannot be recovered — the glyphs are deleted, not covered with a black box.
parse_documentRead a PDF, image or Office document and return markdown.
read_pageRead a web page and return the article as clean markdown, with the navigation, adverts, cookie banners and comments removed.
clean_spreadsheetClean a messy CSV or .xlsx: find the real header row under any preamble, unwind merged cells, and coerce numbers, dates and flags to proper types.
convert_documentConvert a document between formats — Word, ODT, RTF, HTML, markdown, EPUB, images and PDF among them.
extract_tablesPull the tables out of a PDF as CSV, XLSX or JSON.
capture_urlCapture a web page as evidence: a screenshot, a PDF, a WARC and a signed hash manifest, with an RFC-3161 timestamp, plus a verification URL that anyone can open with no account.
youtube_transcriptGet a YouTube video's transcript as plain text, SRT, WebVTT or JSON with per-cue timings.
archive_chat_exportReturns instructions and a link, not an archive.
Every tool reports its cost
Each response carries credits_used. An agent spending a customer’s money should be able to say how much it spent, and almost no MCP server can.
Credits are bought once and never expire, and a failed call is refunded automatically. What a credit buys · the REST API.
