Is there a monthly minimum?

No. Credits are bought once in a pack and spent whenever you like. They do not expire and there is no subscription, so an integration that renders a few hundred documents twice a year costs the same as one that renders them in a week.

Which rendering engine do you use?

Accepted Answer

Chromium for HTML and Markdown, and Typst for Typst sources. Chromium is the same engine your browser prints with, so what you see printing a page locally is what the API returns.

Question 3

Do I have to send the whole HTML on every request?

Accepted Answer

No. Store a template once and render it with a template id and a data object. Storing, listing, updating and deleting templates is free; only the render costs a credit.

Question 4

What happens if a render fails?

Accepted Answer

The credit is refunded automatically. Credits are held before the operation and settled after it, per item in a batch, so a failure costs nothing.
